Founder - MD

Alexander Akoka is a London- and Paris-based post-production executive and Managing Director of Perfect Pictures Post Production, with over 15 years of experience delivering world-class finishing across international film and television.

A former Managing Director of two of France’s leading post-production facilities, Alexander has overseen operations spanning more than 350 productions, including award-winning and festival-selected films across Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto and Sundance.

His personal credits include over 120 projects, with titles such as John Wick: Chapter 4 (Lionsgate), Netflix’s IO, and a wide range of internationally recognised independent features.

Combining creative precision with deep technical and financial expertise, Alexander specialises in delivering complex post-production pipelines on time and on budget—while aligning seamlessly with international financing structures, tax incentives, and distribution requirements.

At Perfect Pictures Post Production, he brings this experience to a modern, London-based studio built to support filmmakers, producers, and platforms at the highest level.

Michael McHugh

Michael McHugh is a Post Production Consultant  with over 20 years of experience spanning film, broadcast, and streaming. His career bridges high-level industry practice, positioning him as a trusted advisor to global streamers, technology vendors, and higher education institutions.

An award-winning virtual production director and senior post production practitioner, Michael has built a reputation for translating complex workflows, delivery specifications, and emerging technologies into practical, scalable training frameworks. His expertise covers the full post production pipeline—from editorial and colour to sound, delivery, and VFX and virtual production—ensuring alignment with real-world production demands.

Michael has led the design and delivery of industry-facing training programmes for organisations including major streaming platforms such as Netflix, and has played a key role in shaping workforce development strategies that address future skills, including remote workflows, cloud-based post, and AI-driven processes. As Head of Training at Post Super, he developed widely adopted learning initiatives such as the Post Production Explained series for ScreenSkills, and co-created advanced certification programmes in partnership with the NFTS.
